How is your day going?!

The weather is SO beautiful here today that I decided to keep June home from daycare, take most of the day off, and get outside together! We worked on de-winterizing (LOL if you live in Chicago you know what that’s like) our back deck, went for a long walk and made a trip to the park! Now she’s napping and I’m trying to cram a full day of work into two hours. 😂

Speaking of summer weather–today I’m sharing a try-on of three adorable summery date night tops from Abercrombie I recently ordered. If you’re like me and always looking for cute tops to wear out to dinner, drinks, dates, girls nights–whatever–this post is for you!

First up, this bubble strap top–between the volume of the strap and the fun colorful print I feel very Malibu Barbie in the BEST WAY. This is such a fun top for summer or a tropical vacation. (Or a destination wedding?!) It’s got smocking in the back so it hugs you perfectly–not too tight, not too loose, and the length is great for tucking in without being too cropped. Comes in other cute colors too!

For a bra, it’s pretty easy for me to get away without one in this top, but could also wear with a sticky bra or petals (I love this set that comes with both). You could also wear a regular bra–the straps are thick enough to cover as long as you’re OK with the inevitable occasional bra strap slippage!

I love this dramatic sleeve top! The classic black also means it’s super easy to style year-round–so it can always be a date-night go-to! Like the first top, it’s a nice length if you don’t like crop tops but you want something that tucks in easily to high-waisted bottoms! Another plus: you can wear a regular bra with it!

Hard to play favorites but this one might win. Maybe. It’s too hard to choose! Originally I thought this was TOO cropped when I first put it on–but know what? I love it. YOLO. Shows enough skin for me to feel semi scandalous but not too much to where I feel like I’m trying to blend in with Gen Z. I love the blue and white pattern especially, but it also comes in other colors! (I have a very similar top from Abercrombie last year in red–I still wear it all the time!) It would also be adorable worn with this tiered maxi skirt!
